Meet Osmar Martinez, a recent graduate of the WANADA Auto Technician Apprenticeship Program who embodies the power of persistence, support, and skilled training. Over the past two years, Osmar has worked diligently to build a successful career — and the results speak volumes.

He now holds several industry-recognized certifications, including:

• Senior Mazda Technician Certification
• Mazda Electrical Specialist Certification

On August 28, Osmar will also be awarded the prestigious Maryland Department of Labor Apprenticeship and Training Council Certificate of Completion, recognizing his achievement as a fully credentialed graduate of a registered apprenticeship program.

Osmar's journey wasn't without its hurdles. Early in the program, he faced challenges with standardized testing because English was his second language. However, with dedicated guidance from our bilingual instructor, Osmar received tailored support that not only helped him succeed but also thrive. He completed his final class with an outstanding GPA of 3.7.

Now a top-performing technician, Osmar is on track to earn over $100,000 this year, and he's done it all without incurring student debt.
