The Washington Area New Automobile Dealers Association (WANADA) is the parent organization of ADEI. For over 100 years, WANADA has served the nation’s capital region by advocating on behalf of franchised auto dealers, their employees, and their customers.
In addition to ADEI, WANADA also owns and operates The Washington, DC Auto Show, one of the top 5 largest auto shows in the U.S. and the largest annual indoor event in Washington, DC.
ADEI has been partnered with Montgomery College (MC) for nearly 20 years, delivering our curriculum in their world-class auto facility. MC was recently named the #7 community college in the United States and the Gudelsky Institute for Technical Education is a premier location to learn the skills needed to be successful in the field.
ADEI joined the automotive offerings at Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) in 2020. As the only registered automotive apprenticeship program in Northern Virginia, the partnership with NOVA is a natural fit and promises to produce quality technicians for many years to come. Instruction is delivered at NOVA’s Alexandria campus, making it accessible for a wide array of students due to its proximity to I-395 and the Metro rail system.
The most recent addition to ADEI is the new partnership with Prince George’s County Public Schools, one of the largest and most robust school systems in the state. With this new training site, ADEI now delivers its certified curriculum and mentorship around the entire Beltway. Instruction is currently being delivered at Crossland High School.
